Kid’s Programs

Children are a gift from God – PSALM 127:3

Caring for our kids and ensuring a SAFE environment that is engaging and fun is a top priority @ Hope Church!!  Each of our volunteers are trained, screened, & background checked to ensure every child’s safety and care.

Mission Statement:

Hope Kids’ programs work to partner with parents to help kids:

  • Discover they are a beloved child of God (He first loved us) through stories, play, song
  • Grow in their love for Jesus (So we Love) / by spending time in his word
  • Nurture the character of Jesus within themselves (through his strength not our own) by spending time in prayer
  •  Trust a life on mission with Jesus is the one that leads them to their “Best Life” (saving faith shown through a changed life) by spending time in service

With the goal that kids understand faith requires their Head, Heart, and Hands.

Motto: Hope Kids – Believe in our Head, with our Heart, through our Hands

Building a strong foundation in a crazy world

Wednesday 6:30 – 8:00 P.M….Kickoff 2d Wednesday of Sept thru May:

At Kids Connect, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The focus @ Kids Connect is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That’s why it’s important to make sure your child connects with the same friends and same leader at the same hour.

If you attended Kids Connect last year or are a regular attender at Hope Church with kids already in our check in system, please use the “Re-register” button below for school year 2025-2026 Kids Connect enrollment and to update your medical/consent forms. If you have never registered with Kids connect or it’s been over a year, please use the “New Registrations” button.

We would love to see you and your family visit our Hope Kids Expedition Hope on Sunday morning. If you’ve never been with us and want a smooth check in first time, use the New Family Registration button below and then use the last four of the primary adult’s phone number to check in at one of our kiosks in the lobby.

Expedition Hope is the theme of our Sunday morning nursery through 5th Grade program. It is a ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every week children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a life changing way they can understand.

By the time they finish the journey with us, we want Hope Kids to understand what it means when they say they BELIEVE (have faith) in God.  This is based on our understanding of faith from James Ch 2 and the Greatest Commandment in Matthew Ch 22.

 Hope Kids:

  1. Believe in their head.  We want them to understand they have to make a mental choice to follow God, it starts there. Mom and Dad can’t make this choice for them. They have to make it and they have to start going through the motions of what it means to be a Christian – praying, reading their bibles, going to church, serving etc….  (For those coming to Christ as an adult we would say it is our willingness to let go of yourself and the things of this world.  Wanting to change.  The first 6 inch step.  Or in the Discipleship Life Cycle being a Spiritual Infant)
  2. Believe with their heart.  Continuing to go through the motions and discovering more about who God is and who they are in Him.  And then with sincerity asking Him into their heart, where He will begin to actually change it to be more like His. We aren’t going through the motions anymore.  We don’t just want to be changed, we are changed.  (As an adult we would say we are growing our relationship with God, each 6 inch step after that first one. This is our commitment to love God and fulfill the Greatest Commandment part 1 – Love God.  On the Discipleship Life Cycle being a Spiritual Child/Teenager/Young Adult)
  3. Believe thru their hands. With a changed heart they won’t be able to help but show God’s love to others with the way they act and in the things that they do.  (Our obedience to God’s will for our lives and fulfillment of Greatest Commandment part 2 –  Love others.  On the Discipleship Life Cycle being a Spiritual Adult/Parent)
